The TopOptShape App is an interactive topology and shape optimization tool that solves the minimum compliance problem in 2D. The App allows the user to change loads, supports and the volume fraction on the fly, and watch the design evolve to a new optimum in real-time.

The TopOptShape App [1] is developed to demonstrate the potential of combined and interactive shape and topology optimization. The TopOpt kernel uses the density approach [2] whereas the shape optimization is performed using the DSC method [3].

The TopOpt App has been developed as part of the InnoTop project funded by the Villum Foundation.
